For planned work and free quotes we are usually on site within two to three working days, and we agree a time on the first call rather than giving you a vague window. Because we work Oxford and the towns around it every week, our vans are minutes away rather than hours.

Is the quote really free? Will you pressure me to book?

It is completely free and there is no obligation whatsoever. We survey the roof, photograph what we find, and send you a fixed written price with every item listed so you can see exactly what you are paying for and compare it fairly against anyone else. We follow up once to check it arrived and answer any questions, then we leave the decision with you. No hard sell, no repeat calls, no discount that expires at midnight.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full public liability and employer's liability insurance on every job, large or small, and we are happy to email the certificates across before any work starts. If you are making an insurance claim after storm damage, we can also provide dated photographs and a written report of what we found alongside the quote, which is usually what an insurer asks for.

What's covered by the 15-year guarantee?

Every job carries a 15-year written workmanship guarantee. If anything fails because of the way we fitted it, we come back and put it right at no cost to you, for 15 years. It covers labour on repairs and full replacements alike, it transfers to the new owner if you sell the house, and it sits on top of any manufacturer warranty on the tiles, membranes or rainwater goods we install.

Do you work outside Oxford?

Our core patch is Oxford, Kidlington, Abingdon-on-Thames, Bicester and Didcot and the villages in between, and that is where the large majority of our work is. We do take jobs a little further afield when the schedule allows, so it is always worth a call. Staying genuinely local matters on roof work: it is what lets us get back to you quickly if you ever need us under the guarantee.

Do I need to pay anything up front?

No deposit is needed on repairs, and you pay nothing until the work is finished and you are happy with it. On larger jobs such as a full roof replacement, where we are ordering materials and booking scaffolding, we agree a staged payment schedule in writing before we start, so you always know exactly what is due and when. We never ask for cash up front.
